The UN Security Council will hold a meeting to discuss Russia's large-scale attack on Ukraine.

On December 16 at 10:00 PM Kyiv time, a meeting of the UN Security Council will take place to discuss the humanitarian consequences of Russia's aggression. The session has been convened due to the extensive shelling of civilians and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

Due to the extensive shelling of Ukraine's civilian population and critical infrastructure by Russia, a meeting of the UN Security Council will take place on December 16. This was announced by Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsya, on social media platform X, as reported by UNN.

According to Serhiy Kyslytsya, the meeting will focus on "Support for Peace and Security in Ukraine" and is convened to address the humanitarian consequences of Russia's armed aggression, particularly its extensive shelling of civilians and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
