The U.S. President believes that the negotiation process will help end the war
Donald Trump commented on his discussions yesterday with the aggressor country's leader, Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
This was reported by UNIAN, referencing Trump's post today on the social media platform Truth Social.
“Great discussions with Russia and Ukraine yesterday. A good opportunity to end this horrible, very bloody war,” wrote the U.S. president.
On Wednesday, February 12, Donald Trump had a phone conversation with Putin, which he later described as “long and very productive.” According to him, he and the Russian dictator agreed that they “want to stop the millions of deaths occurring in the war between Russia and Ukraine.”
On that same day, there was a phone conversation between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky. As reported by the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, Trump informed the President of Ukraine about his conversation with Putin and expressed his strong commitment to doing everything possible to end the war Russia is waging against Ukraine.
Additionally, Andriy Yermak stated that Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian delegation will meet with representatives of Donald Trump at the Munich Security Conference.
