Donald Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, stated he is prepared to secure peace through strength
Donald Trump, who won the presidential election in the United States, appointed retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg as the Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia. Kellogg has already shared his plans, stating that he is ready to ensure peace through strength.
He announced this on social media platform X.
“It is a great honor for me that Donald Trump has appointed me as Assistant to the President and Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia. Working for President Trump was a tremendous honor, and I look forward to working tirelessly to secure peace through strength, advocating for America's interests,” Kellogg stated.
He served as the Chief of Staff for the National Security Council at the White House during Trump's presidency from 2017 to 2021 and was a national security advisor to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
From 1967 to 2003, he served in the army. During the Vietnam War (1967-1975), he was with the 101st Airborne Division. For his participation in the war, he received the Silver Star and Bronze Star medals. In 1996, he took command of the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired in 2003 with the rank of Lieutenant General.
