The EU Ambassador and the new European Commissioner for Defense were in a shelter during the morning missile attack
The newly appointed European Commissioner for Defense, Andrius Kubilius, who is currently in Kyiv on an official visit, started his morning in a shelter.
The relevant photos were shared on her X-account by the EU Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarína Mathernová.
“Friday the thirteenth: another missile attack by Russia on Ukrainian critical infrastructure early in the morning. 93 ballistic and cruise missiles and over 200 drones targeted energy and transport networks. Welcome to the shelter, new EU Commissioner for Defense,” Mathernová wrote.
It is worth noting that on the morning of December 13, Russia launched another aerial attack in an attempt to strike at Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
