"Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, 'The U.S. has aided Putin in escaping years of isolation.'"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the approval ratings released by U.S. President Donald Trump are misinformation originating from Russia.
«США помогли Путину выйти из многолетней изоляции», – Владимир Зеленский.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that the approval rating figures released by U.S. President Donald Trump are misinformation coming from Russia.

This was noted by the Head of State during a conversation with media representatives, as reported by Ukrinform.

“If someone wants to replace me right now, that simply cannot happen. And secondly, since we are talking about four percent, we have seen this misinformation, and we understand that it originates from Russia. We recognize this, and we have evidence that these figures are being discussed between America and Russia. Unfortunately, President Trump, whom we regard with great respect as a leader of the American people, whom we deeply respect and who constantly supports us, lives in this disinformation space,” Volodymyr Zelensky explained.

He also promised that he would soon release sociological data regarding the trust of Ukrainians in various political leaders.

According to a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, as of the first half of February 2025, 57 percent of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Moreover, Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the U.S. policy and the Trump team are helping to lift Putin and Russia, as an aggressor, out of isolation.

“I believe that the U.S. has helped Putin emerge from years of isolation due to the full-scale invasion. No one is irritated. We are ready for everything.

The story about 90 percent of aid from the U.S.… We understand that the truth is a bit different, although we are certainly grateful for the assistance. I would like there to be more truth from the Trump team,” Volodymyr Zelensky noted.

It is also worth mentioning that today the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, arrived in Kyiv.
