The Head of European Diplomacy arrived in the Ukrainian capital on November 10
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, shared his photos from a Kyiv shelter during an air raid on the morning of November 11.
“I start my day in Kyiv in a shelter because Russia is launching yet another missile attack. For the Ukrainian people, this is an everyday reality since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion,” – wrote Borrell on social media platform X.
Josep Borrell arrived in Kyiv on Sunday, November 10. At a press conference with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, he stated that there is currently no consensus among EU countries regarding the relocation of the military training mission to Ukrainian territory.
“Regarding the training mission that would operate on Ukrainian territory, there is still no consensus among member states to reach this decision. However, the training mission can continue its work,” – Borrell was quoted by “European Truth”.
The head of European diplomacy also reminded that by the end of the year, the EU military training mission will have prepared 75,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
Reminder, on the morning of November 11, emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv due to the threat of a Russian missile attack.
