The 76-year-old artist, after more than 60 years on stage, stated on Tuesday at the Lyceum Theatre in London that her upcoming album will be her last.
Upon taking the stage, Cher told the audience that she is ready to conclude her career - but only after releasing her first new project since 2013.
Cher joked that at 76, she is grateful for any work and added: "Now I’m older than the Earth, you get that? I’m the oldest person I meet in almost every room unless I’m in a nursing home."
The pop star admitted that she finds it difficult to cope with aging and mentioned that she has always felt the way she does and didn’t know how to change it.
