The Days of Ukrainian Cinema continue in the capital of Azerbaijan as part of the cultural project "New Horizons of Ukrainian Culture." Key highlights of the event included the presentation of a prestigious award and the screening of the film "Home."

The opening ceremony took place at Landmark Cinema. After the national anthems of Ukraine and Azerbaijan were performed, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Yuri Gusev, and the head of the Ukrainian Center in Baku, Olga Guseva, delivered welcoming speeches, emphasizing the importance of cultural cooperation.
Yuri Gusev reminded that recently, Days of Azerbaijani Culture were held in Ukraine, making the Days of Ukrainian Cinema in Azerbaijan a means to build cultural bridges between the two countries.
The ambassador also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support of Ukraine's territorial integrity.
Guests were particularly captivated by the performance of the renowned Ukrainian actor and director Akhtem Seitablaev, who presented the first film of the evening – "Home."
A significant moment of the evening was the awarding of the prestigious Ukrainian film award "Golden Yula." The Chairman of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, Sergey Bordenyuk, ceremoniously awarded Novruz Pashaev, an Azerbaijani director and actor, for his role in the film "La Palisiada."
The Days of Ukrainian Cinema will conclude on December 1 with screenings of the films: "Mavka. The Forest Song" and "Shchedryk."
Admission is free. However, the organizers warned that seating is limited, so reservations should be made in advance.

On October 18, the Ukrainian trailer for the film "Era of Werewolves" was released. The film tells the story of people's struggle against an epidemic that turns them into werewolves and will be released in Ukrainian theaters on December 19.
