Ice rinks to visit in Kyiv this year.

In winter, Kyiv is filled with festive spirit and wonderful opportunities for active recreation. The ice rinks in the capital are popular places where you can not only enjoy quality time with family but also immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the New Year celebrations.

UNN has prepared a selection of the best ice rinks in Kyiv, highlighting their features and what you should know before stepping onto the ice.

Winter Village "Cristal Ice Rink". River Mall Shopping Center

On the waterfront near the River Mall Shopping Center, the winter village "Cristal Ice Rink" opens. On a vast ice arena covering 1600 m2, you can skate and enjoy hot dishes, drinks, and entertainment offered near the rink.

There are several food courts where you can indulge in seafood, meat and vegetable dishes, burgers, chebureks, desserts, and various treats. Mulled wine and non-alcoholic warming drinks are also available for purchase.

Operating hours: Weekdays – from 12:00 to 22:00. All other days (weekdays, weekends, and holidays from 23.12 to 3.01) – from 10:00 to 22:00.

Ticket prices: Entrance ticket – 440 UAH (children under 4 years – free). A 5% discount for Mastercard holders, and a 10% discount for Mastercard + Oschadbank. Discounted ticket – 300 UAH (for persons with disabilities of categories 1, 2, 3, orphans, and military personnel with their families).

Tickets can be obtained upon presentation of identification.

There are no time restrictions on rink usage, as skating is unlimited.

Importantly, the rink operates even during power outages. You can visit the winter village "Cristal Ice Rink" from November 30 to February 2.

Ice Rink in "Winter Country". VDNH

One of the most popular among Kyiv residents is the ice rink spanning 2500 m2, located in "Winter Country" at VDNH.

"Winter Country" also offers its visitors a Christmas fair, "The Enchanted Greenhouse," a Venetian carousel, a Ferris wheel, an alpine slide, "Santa's residence," "The Christmas Dream Factory," Animal Park, "Butterfly Planet," a science museum, various attractions, and more.

Additionally, there is a wide selection of food courts where you can enjoy grilled dishes, popular fast food, which this year will include a menu from "Rebernya," sweets, mulled wine, and other hot beverages.

"Cosmic Ice Rink". Respublika Park Shopping Center

This year, another wonderful place for spending time with friends or family has opened near the Respublika Park Shopping Center — Winter Location "Cosmic Ice Rink".

This ice surface covers 1800 m2 and features a stunning illuminated arch. There are three food courts in the village near the rink, where you can enjoy delicious desserts, chebureks, meat dishes, and aromatic mulled wine. Additionally, there is one food court right on the rink, where visitors can find desserts, mulled wine, hot dogs, and sandwiches.

You can visit the "Cosmic Ice Rink" from November 30 to February 2. The rink will also operate during power outages.
