Occupants have raised transportation fares in Donetsk, nearly doubling the price.

The Russian occupying authorities in Donetsk have raised the fares for intercity transportation. At the same time, the situation with the railway in the city has not improved and remains catastrophic. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNR), as conveyed by UNN.

It is noted that from January 1, 2025, transportation fares have rapidly increased. According to available information, the fare to Luhansk now costs 955 rubles, compared to 585 rubles last year.

A similar situation is observed in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, where public transport prices have risen to 40 rubles. Meanwhile, there have been no so-called "improvements" for the local population.

"Thus, the occupiers have no intention of improving living conditions for local residents, but only intensify financial pressure and demonstrate complete indifference to basic human needs in the region," the CNR noted.

The occupying authorities have introduced a new condition for obtaining compensation for destroyed housing in Mariupol - an inventory of homes. However, this is impossible since more than 500 multi-story buildings have been completely demolished by the occupiers.
