Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), shared a photo with Zimmer on X, referring to him as “one of the greatest musicians of our time.”
Al-Sheikh mentioned that he and Zimmer talked about several new musical projects set to be launched soon, including a concert and an original piece titled Arabia, inspired by the culture and heritage of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, they discussed the possibility of creating a soundtrack for the upcoming Saudi film "Battle of Yarmouk."
Furthermore, Al-Sheikh hinted at plans for a grand concert featuring Hans Zimmer as part of the upcoming season in Riyadh.
The head of GEA stated that he felt "immense admiration" from Zimmer towards Saudi Arabia and its people, adding that the Oscar-winning composer promised to visit the Kingdom soon with his family and friends.
