Details

Dmytro Lubinets confirmed that Ukraine is ready to retrieve all its citizens from captivity and unlawful detention, despite the disinformation spread by the Russian side.

In his address, he emphasized that the terrorists continue to employ cynical methods concerning the captives, while Ukraine is actively working on the repatriation of its defenders. Lubinets also noted that Ukraine has neither delayed nor is delaying the exchange process; on the contrary, it has established a mixed medical commission for the exchange of severely wounded and seriously ill prisoners of war.

According to the ombudsman, Russia continues to ignore the initiative for exchange and shows no genuine interest in the return of its prisoners.
