Events for the winter holidays will take place from December 6 to January 6 in Kharkiv. A distinctive feature of this year's celebration will be that it will occur in the subway. This was reported by UNN citing the city council's announcement.
Festive programs dedicated to St. Nicholas Day are prepared for residents, which will be held on December 6 at the "Historical Museum" subway station and the "University" subway station.
Throughout December and January, concerts of the creative project "Together to Victory!" will be held in the Kharkiv subway, and on December 25, everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy the festive program "From Christmas to Christmas."
Additionally, from December 25 to January 6, a festive exhibition of artworks by students from Kharkiv's art schools will be held in the lobby of the "Constitution Square" subway station, and on December 26, the traditional residence of St. Nicholas will open its doors for visitors at the "Historical Museum" subway station. It will operate until January 6.
Festive concerts dedicated to the Nativity of Christ and the New Year will also await audiences on December 19 at the N.V. Lysenko Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Furthermore, from December 26-30 and January 2-6, they will showcase the New Year’s children's performance "The Secret of the Fourth Kingdom."
