What happened? The flower shop owned by Sokur's partner suddenly shut down following his dismissal from the tax service.

The flower boutique "Lebedeva flower aesthetic," owned by Alina Lebedeva—the partner of former acting Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Yevgeny Sokur—is currently closed due to technical reasons. According to the guards at the "Leonardo" business center, the store has not opened in 2025, reports UNN.

Successful Success

Earlier, during the investigation into an alleged assassination attempt against him, Yevgeny Sokur revealed to law enforcement that he has been living with a girl named Alina in an apartment on Lobanovsky Avenue, 6-D, since 2016. However, Sokur never mentioned his cohabitant in his declarations. Following a parliamentary inquiry from a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy, Nina Yuzhanina, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) initiated an investigation regarding Yevgeny Sokur. In response to a request from UNN, the Agency confirmed that they are also monitoring the lifestyle of the official. The head of the Public Council at the NACP, Yekaterina Butko, noted that the National Agency is examining whether Sokur lived together with his partner Alina.

It later became clear why Sokur did not mention his cohabitant in his declarations. It turned out that he resides with Alina Lebedeva. According to the Youcontrol system, Alina Lebedeva registered her individual entrepreneur status on August 3, 2022. Her main business activity code is retail trade in flowers, plants, seeds, fertilizers, pets, and pet food in specialized stores. Notably, Sokur took a managerial position at the tax service less than three months prior to this—specifically in May 2022.

In just over a year of operation during the full-scale war, Alina Lebedeva's business was thriving so well that she announced the opening of a flower boutique in the heart of the capital on her birthday, November 1, 2023, at the "Leonardo" business center.

The head of the #SaveFOP movement, Sergey Dorotich, suggested that the stunning success of Sokur's partner is linked to another intriguing aspect—the legalization of funds through her business.

Something Went Wrong

The Cabinet of Ministers annulled the decision to appoint Yevgeny Sokur as the acting Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine—who was previously an aide to people's deputy Daniil Getmantsev. It was later revealed that Sokur has once again become an aide to Getmantsev.

UNN decided to inquire about how Alina Lebedeva's business is faring following the career swings of her civil partner Yevgeny Sokur.

It turns out, the flower boutique in the "Leonardo" business center is closed. According to a security guard at the center, the store has not opened in 2025. Although there is a notice on the boutique's door stating that it will be closed from January 13 to January 24.

Through the glass doors of the boutique, there was no sign of any preparations for the store's opening after noon on January 23.

UNN attempted to order flowers from Alina Lebedeva's boutique, but they informed that they are not operating until January 24 due to technical reasons.

It is worth noting that after it became known that Alina Lebedeva is the mysterious civil partner of Yevgeny Sokur, she deleted all posts from her Instagram page. Additionally, the page for her store has not been updated since December 30.

Of course, one might speculate that she decided to take a vacation for the New Year holidays, or perhaps after Sokur's dismissal from the tax service, she realized that her flower business would no longer achieve such stunning success.

Yevgeny Sokur is under investigation for a criminal offense related to official misconduct. This case was opened by the State Bureau of Investigation on November 4, 2022, under part 3 of Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, regarding the abuse of power by Sokur, who signed an order on October 26, 2022, to annul the license of PJSC "UkrTatNafta" for fuel production. Such actions by the official, according to the investigation, led to severe consequences for society and the state, manifesting in the inability to fulfill the mobilization tasks of the Ministry of Defense regarding the production and supply of petroleum products for defense and national security needs. The State Bureau of Investigation informed UNN that this criminal case is still under investigation.
