Former U.S. President Joe Biden has signed a contract with a Hollywood talent agency based in Los Angeles, marking a significant step in shaping his post-presidential career, reports BBC, according to UNN.
Details
The signing signifies a reunion with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), which represented him from 2017 to 2020.
"President Biden is one of the most respected and influential voices in America on national and global issues," said Richard Lovett, co-chairman of CAA, in his statement.
"His lifelong commitment to public service embodies unity, optimism, dignity, and opportunity," Lovett added. "It is a great honor for us to work with him again."
The talent agency also has connections with former U.S. President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
The 82-year-old Biden has largely remained silent about his plans following a five-decade career in public service, but as he left the White House in January, he reassured supporters by saying, "We may be leaving office, but we are not leaving the fight."
Only two weeks have passed since his departure, and there are no clear signs of a new book or project in the works.
During his previous tenure with the talent agency, he published his memoir "Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose" in 2017.
The book, which detailed the loss of his eldest son, Beau, became a New York Times bestseller and inspired him to embark on the American Promise book tour, which many consider a stepping stone to his 2020 presidential campaign.
While the former president has remained relatively low-profile, he has been seen near his home in Delaware and maintains contact with former aides and associates. Recently, he also became a great-grandfather, as his granddaughter Naomi welcomed a son.

Additional Information
Although CAA typically collaborates with major movie stars and A-list celebrities, the agency often works with politicians and public interest groups as well.
The Obamas' partnership with CAA through their production company Higher Ground has led to the creation of award-winning films and television shows, including the Oscar-winning documentary "American Factory."
Additionally, former presidential candidate and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signed a contract with CAA to represent her book projects, including "Hard Choices," which discusses her tenure as America's chief diplomat.
