Veteran and public figure Alexander "Teren" Budko and volunteer Inna Belén announced their separation just a month after the conclusion of the "Bachelor" project, reports UNN.
"We met at that train station because our hearts guided us and the stars aligned. We followed our feelings and found them. These were the best dates of our lives, filled with emotions that will remain in our memories forever, and experiences that became an essential part of who we are.
We are grateful to each other for every moment spent together, for the sincerity and openness that existed between us. Life doesn’t always unfold like in romantic movies. Sometimes life shows that, no matter how special the journey may be, each person has their own destination.
We have decided to move forward separately, and that’s all we wish to say on the matter. We believe that all the most important words were spoken face to face, and we would like to keep them just for ourselves…," noted Teren in a statement.
Additional Information
Fans had long suspected tension in the relationship between Budko and Belén.
Back in January, the couple publicly argued over an interview with the winner of the "Bachelor" project, Slava Demin. During that interview, Belén criticized everyone who bullies Russian-speaking Ukrainians. She pointed out that transitioning to the Ukrainian language requires more time. Such statements did not sit well with Teren, who openly disagreed with his girlfriend’s stance and expressed that her comments were unexpected for him. Belén, in turn, stated that her beloved's words were hurtful to her. However, despite this conflict, the couple declared they were staying together.
The host of "Bachelor," Grigory Reshetnik, commented on all the rumors regarding Budko and Belén's breakup on his Instagram.
Reminder
In May of last year, Ukrainian war veteran with the call sign "Teren," who lost both legs in the war, became the new Bachelor on the STB channel in Ukraine.
