The budget for 2025 allocates 42.3 billion UAH for the subsidy and benefits program.
Как изменится тариф на электроэнергию? Сколько украинцы будут платить с 1 февраля?

While rumors about an increase in electricity prices regularly arise in Ukraine, the electricity tariff has been "frozen" until the end of the heating season of 2025-2026. Until then, it will remain unchanged and from February 1, the rate for household consumers will stay the same at 4.32 UAH per 1 kWh.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during his speech at a government meeting. Additionally, the heating supply tariff will remain unchanged until the end of the heating season.

"For this heating season, the tariffs for heat and electricity, as we promised, will remain unchanged. The budget for 2025 allocates 42.3 billion UAH for the subsidy and benefits program, which will support all needy Ukrainians,” noted the head of the government.

As previously stated by the Minister of Energy, Herman Haluschenko, in response to a request from MP Oleksiy Kucherenko, the price for electricity for household consumers is approved until April 30, 2025. Until that date, the tariff will remain the same.

We remind you that earlier, Ukrainian MP and First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities, Oleksiy Kucherenko, mentioned on the YouTube channel Telegraf UA that the temporary investigative commission (VSK) of the Verkhovna Rada on pricing and tariff policy in the energy sector is expected to complete the analysis and verification of data from Naftogaz and Energoatom by the end of February. A report on their work is planned for April, and in May, they aim to block any potential tariff increases.
