On the evening of January 31, Russians launched ballistic missiles at the center of Odessa, and during the night of February 1, they conducted a massive drone attack on Zaporizhzhia. In Odessa, seven people were injured, and historical buildings were damaged, while in Zaporizhzhia, there were some destructions and one person was hurt.

Update 8:45 The State Emergency Service reported that from 00:50 to 01:40, the Russian army carried out 16 drone strikes on the regional center. As a result of falling debris, a 57-year-old man was injured. Medical personnel provided him with necessary assistance, but he refused hospitalization.

As stated by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov, the Russians used 18 "Shahed" drones for the attack in Zaporizhzhia. Due to the Russian assault, an educational institution, houses, and vehicles sustained damage. Additionally, a car wash and private garages were affected.
