On the evening of November 14, Odessa was subjected to a massive combined enemy strike. Russian missiles hit cultural heritage monuments that are under UNESCO protection, reports UNN citing the Ministry of Culture.

According to the agency, as a result of the occupiers' attack, cultural heritage monuments located within the World Heritage site "Historic Center of Odessa" and its buffer zone were damaged:

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation to ensure that no crime goes unpunished.
Recall that on January 25, during the 18th extraordinary session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, the site "Historic Center of the Port City of Odessa" was included in the List of World Heritage in Danger to preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage. The status of this site in the relevant list was confirmed at the current 46th meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
