There is also a winged chevron, but instead of an eagle like the airborne troops, it features heavenly forces. The central element of the chevron for the 114th separate brigade of territorial defense is the image of Archangel Michael. The term "archangel" refers to "the head of the holy host of angels and archangels."

The silver Archangel Michael on a red background symbolizes the Kyiv region and indicates the location of the unit. Another significant element of the chevron is the blue tapered jagged stripe at the top, which signifies affiliation with the territorial defense forces. This represents a protective wall.
