In Ukraine, individuals subject to military service may receive a deferment from mobilization under certain conditions. This option is also available to some men who are currently abroad.
There are two methods for applying for a deferment: submitting documents in person at the TC and SP, or applying remotely through the "Reserve+" app. This information was shared by lawyers from the INSEININ company.
Any other grounds do not grant men abroad the right to apply for a deferment, the lawyers clarified.
The message also emphasized that conscripts who are abroad must fully comply with military registration regulations—attend summons, update military registration data, and be registered at the TC and SP. Failure to comply with these rules may result in administrative penalties for men.
"The application for a deferment is a right, not an obligation. Therefore, those conscripts who cannot apply for a deferment while abroad cannot be held accountable in any way," they concluded.
Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported on whether a man can be denied a deferment due to an outdated conclusion from the military medical commission.
