Russians may have seized new territories in Donetsk. Here's the latest on the frontlines and a map of the ongoing battles.

Today marks the 1069th day of the full-scale war against Russian occupiers. From the beginning of the past day, January 26, until 22:00, there were 153 combat clashes on the front. The Russians made advances in the Donetsk region.

According to data from the DeepState portal, the Russian army has advanced in Toretsk, near Andriivka and Novoelizavetivka. Changes in the front line are reflected on the map.

As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is exerting maximum pressure in the Pokrovsk direction, where throughout the day on January 26 until 22:00, they conducted 70 assault and offensive actions. The highest activity of Russian occupiers is observed in the areas of Vodyane Vtore, Myrolubivka, Yelizavetivka, Luch, Zeleny, Udachny, Kotlyn, Nadeivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, and Yantarny.

In the Lyman direction, the Russians attacked 15 times. The enemy attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Nadiya, Zelenaya Rosha, Makeivka, Yampolevka, and Torske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians attacked Ukrainian positions 21 times. Fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Belya Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian army attempted to breach our defenses 8 times. The occupiers operated in the area of Toretsk.

The enemy is also active in the Kupiansk direction, where they attempted to push our units from their positions 11 times. The Russians attacked near Stepna Novoselivka, Kolesnykivka, Hlushkovka, and Zahryzovyi.

As reported by "Telegraph," on January 26, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the appointment of Major General Mykhailo Drapaty as the head of the Operational-Strategic Group of Troops "Khortytsia." This operational command includes the front in the Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
