The U.S. State Department has updated its travel recommendations for American citizens visiting Ukraine. This information was reported on the official website of the agency, according to UNN.

As per the information, the agency has designated certain regions of Ukraine as areas with a lower level of risk, owing to enhanced air defense capabilities and their distance from active combat zones.
The risk level has been lowered from four (do not travel) to three (reconsider travel) for several regions in Ukraine: Volyn, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr.
