The U.S. has updated its travel advisories for citizens regarding trips to Ukraine.

The U.S. State Department has lowered the risk level for nine western regions of Ukraine from four to three. This marks the first change in travel recommendations since the onset of the full-scale invasion.

As per the information, the agency has designated certain regions of Ukraine as areas with a lower level of risk, owing to enhanced air defense capabilities and their distance from active combat zones.

The risk level has been lowered from four (do not travel) to three (reconsider travel) for several regions in Ukraine: Volyn, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr.
