Netflix showcased the first teaser for the film along with the episode titles on a symbolic day for fans: November 6. It was on this day in 1983 that the show's main character went missing, which was the focus of the first season.
The teaser does not feature any episodes or characters, only the titles of the episodes. The fifth season will consist of 8 episodes, which will be titled as follows:

- The Vanishing of...(classified)
- The Turnbow Trap
- Sorcerer
- Shock Jock
- Escape from Camazotz
- The Bridge
