After arriving at the front, recruits need to develop a set of habits that will enhance their chances of survival. One of these habits is not to be afraid to ask questions.
This was shared by a platoon instructor from the 210th Separate Assault Regiment of the Ukrainian Ground Forces in an interview with "Telegraph": How Not to Die "at Zero" – "Base" from Assault Regiment Instructor Dmytro Turyan (video)
"It's important not to be afraid to ask questions, even if they seem silly: to your comrades, to instructors, to constantly improve, study, and focus on the tasks set by the command," he stated.
According to him, in any position, there are "veterans" who have spent some time there. These soldiers surely know nuances that newcomers are unaware of. Therefore, it's wise to spend some time with them to learn what to be prepared for.
"In any defensive operation in our cities, there have been many Robin Hood-style raids thanks to the locals who know the positions better; they are aware of where there are holes in the fences and where underground passages are located," Turyan added.
Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that mobilized Ukrainians should take with them to the training center.
