Recently, the popularity of selling vintage items has been increasing in Ukraine. These items were once sources of pride and were cherished as family heirlooms. Among the most common lots are dishes, books, and other household items that have been preserved since the Soviet era. Previously, we reported that in Ukraine they are selling Tamagotchi games.

Particularly sought after are porcelain tea sets, which were often passed down through generations but now serve as mere dust collectors for many. For instance, an online platform has listed a Soviet-era tea set made of blue cobalt for six people. It has been remarkably well-preserved.

Included Items and Price

The set includes: a teapot, a sugar bowl, a creamer, six cups, and six saucers. The set is crafted from richly blue porcelain adorned with an elaborate gold floral pattern and blue accents. The price of the set is 1735 UAH.

The seller notes that the set is in excellent condition: the gold detailing is intact, there are no chips or cracks, and all the lids are original. According to the seller, the item was kept in a cabinet and has only been used a few times. The set was produced at the legendary factory in Baranovka, which was renowned for its quality tableware.

The demand for such items is linked to buyers' desire to own unique pieces that carry history or even to create a nostalgic atmosphere in their homes. At the same time, sellers are clearing space in their homes and earning extra income. This trend confirms that items once considered mere decor can now enjoy a second life.
