"Putin will take as much as we allow": a volunteer explains why Russia won't end the war.

The Kremlin elite understands that losing the war or failing to achieve any visible results means for them, primarily, not just political but also real death. This could lead to a rebellion in Russia and trigger irreversible processes.

This was stated by the well-known Ukrainian volunteer Maria Berlinska in an interview with "Ukrainian Pravda." She explained why Russia continues the war and will persist until the very end.

"Therefore, they will not let go of the situation and will投入 as many resources into this war as necessary, non-stop," — said Berlinska.

Moreover, it is incorrect to think that achieving results will be limited to the occupation of the Donetsk region and complete control over Donbas.

"Putin will take exactly as much as we allow him. It is not just about strictly administrative borders. If they manage to fully take the Zaporizhzhia region, they will take Zaporizhzhia and will fight for it. If they can move towards Dnipro – they will head towards Dnipro," — the volunteer believes.

She added that if resources are available, Russia has no intention of stopping and will continue the war.

"Russia understands power, I know this for sure. I also know for certain that Russia will take exactly as much as we give them. And if they have the resources to go to Lviv, they will go to Lviv. That’s why I have repeatedly emphasized the importance of thinking like the enemy. The enemy thinks like a maniac," — Berlinska stated.

Additionally, the volunteer pointed out an important aspect — Russia primarily addresses the issue of personnel shortages with very high payments when signing contracts. This can be said to be a one-way street for the military.

"In other words, you cannot leave the army; you are simply reset, and that's it. Accordingly, by signing a contract and receiving some conditional tens of thousands of dollars, they commit to being there until the end," — she believes.
