The reaction from the Ukrainian and international community to Donald Trump's inaugural speech has been mixed. Experts and public figures particularly noted the economic statements and the lack of mentions regarding Ukraine.

The founder of Monobank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, succinctly commented on the speech with a rhetorical question: "Is a just world coming tomorrow?"

The head of the CPI of the National Security and Defense Council, Lieutenant Andrey Kovalenko, pointed out the words of the newly elected U.S. president concerning energy. "Trump's message that the U.S. will export its own energy worldwide should particularly please Putin — even more than the unknown drones targeting oil refineries," he noted.

Russian and Ukrainian journalist Ivan Yakovina highlighted the aggressive nature of the speech and its focus against the current president, Joe Biden. According to his observations, Trump announced significant changes in U.S. domestic policy: from tightening immigration control to canceling environmental initiatives.

3

"Essentially, he is declaring a state of emergency in the U.S. Formally — to combat illegal immigration and inflation," Yakovina emphasized.

Ukrainian influencer Igor Lachenkov noted the absence of mentions about Ukraine and the immediate reaction of the cryptocurrency market to the speech. "Trump has finished his first inaugural speech. Not a word about Ukraine. Cryptocurrency is already reacting to the speech. The countdown has begun."

Russian journalist and former State Duma deputy Alexander Nevzorov briefly conveyed the essence of Trump's main statements in his message, also noting that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden did not applaud him.
