Emergency power outages were implemented on Friday, February 28, across several regions of Ukraine. Consumers in Sumy, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions will be without electricity.

This was announced by the energy companies of the relevant divisions of "Ukrenergo." In particular, the emergency outages in Dnipro are being reported by PJSC "PEEM" CEC."

"Dear consumers! We warn you about the implementation of the EMERGENCY DISCONNECTION SCHEDULE!" — states the message.

DTEK confirms that in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, emergency electricity disconnection schedules are in effect. "Dnipropetrovsk region, Donetsk region: emergency outages. Following the command from Ukrenergo, emergency outages are being applied in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions."

JSC "Sumyoblenergo" has also posted on its official page about the emergency disconnection schedules: "By the directive of NEC 'Ukrenergo,' emergency disconnection schedules were implemented in Sumy region at 06:39. Currently, these measures are in effect for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd consumer groups."

Ukrenergo reported the reasons for the restrictions — the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities. "First and foremost, industrial consumers are disconnected. Restrictions for residential consumers are only applied in specific cases," — states the message.

Earlier, Telegraf also reported that Dnipro is moving to emergency power outages. Users who currently have electricity are asked to use it as economically as possible.
