The Russian occupiers are continually attempting to enhance the capabilities of their kamikaze drones, specifically the Shahed-136, focusing on both the warhead and communication stability.

In addition, the enemy is supplementing the "Shaheds" with decoy drones "Gerbera" and "Parody" to create numerous false targets, thereby diverting attention and trying to breach layered air defense systems. This was reported by military-political analyst Alexander Kovalenko from the "Information Resistance" group during a broadcast on "Direct".

"They are constantly adapting, trying to increase the effectiveness of breaching our air defense systems, and throughout 2024, they have indeed made such advancements, but on the other hand, we are also not standing still," stated Alexander Kovalenko.

According to the expert, Western sanctions cannot halt Russia's drone production, as the country has effectively established smuggling routes for various microchips and integrated circuits over the years of full-scale war.

"Unfortunately, in this case, sanctions do have an impact; they force Russia to pay significantly more for certain components and to wait much longer for them, but completely depriving Russia of any supply of these elements is not possible – they can no longer do that today," Alexander Kovalenko added.
