On the evening of January 21, the occupants struck the private sector with a "Shahed," damaging several homes.

This was reported on Telegram by the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar.

"Dear residents of Sumy, another 'Shahed' has hit the private sector," Kobzar stated.

He added that as a result of the strike, several homes were damaged, windows were shattered, and a wall was breached.

All emergency services were on-site, with firefighters working to extinguish the blaze.

It is also known that on the evening of January 21, the Russian Federation attacked Mykolaiv with drones, resulting in destruction, fires, and casualties.

This was reported on Telegram by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"The mansard floor of an apartment building was partially destroyed. A fire in an apartment on the sixth floor, covering an area of 100 square meters, has been extinguished. 200 people were evacuated from the building, and everyone has returned to their homes," the message stated.

The State Emergency Service reported that the blast wave shattered windows in four apartment buildings and one private house.

Several units of electric transport and other vehicles were damaged.

As a result of the enemy attack, two people were injured; a 74-year-old woman was hospitalized, while a man experienced an acute stress reaction and received first aid but refused hospitalization.
