On average, the losses of Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction fluctuate between 300 to 500 per day, and it is already possible to say that the enemy's losses in January 2025 will be record-breaking.

This was stated by military-political expert Dmitry Snegirev during a broadcast on FREEДОМ.

According to the expert, in January of this year, the losses of Russian occupation forces in the Pokrovsk direction may reach 12,000 to 15,000, while throughout the entire offensive of the Russian Federation on Pokrovsk, the enemy has lost approximately 150,000 personnel. Notably, the most motivated and capable units of the Russian army are being "utilized" here.

"The most combat-ready units of the Russian occupational army are concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction: these are the 2nd and 41st combined arms armies. Currently, units from the 51st combined arms army are being redeployed from the Kurakhove direction," explained Dmitry Snegirev.

Additionally, as the military expert noted, the losses of Russian occupiers in armored vehicles in the Pokrovsk direction have reached a historical maximum — 1,800 units during this offensive operation by the enemy.

"Therefore, the changes in the tactics of the Russian occupiers are not coincidental, specifically the withdrawal of heavy armored vehicles from the frontline and their use essentially as artillery," added Dmitry Snegirev.
