There is a possibility of Russian occupiers advancing from Pokrovsk westward towards Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but currently, they lack the necessary forces and resources for such an operation.
This was stated by the head of military security programs at the Globalist Center “Strategy XXI,” Pavel Lakiychuk, during a broadcast on the FREEДОМ channel.
"I continue to adhere to the version that if Pokrovsk is captured, the Russians will move north along the Pokrovsk-Constantinovka road towards Constantinovka with the aim of destroying Constantinovka and, accordingly, Druzhkovka, Kramatorsk, and the entire agglomeration, with simultaneous frontal strikes, advancing from the side of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar," – said Pavel Lakiychuk.
According to the expert, after that, the occupiers would need to conduct an operation to eliminate the Siversky bulge from the Lyman direction, where the enemy is already resuming activity.
The expert added that the advancement of Russian occupation forces into the Dnipropetrovsk region is unlikely, because from a military standpoint, it wouldn't offer them any significant advantage.
"If they send part of their forces in that direction, they will weaken their capabilities to accomplish their main objective. Therefore, I believe that such a development of events is unlikely," – emphasized Pavel Lakiychuk.
