As of 9 AM, the downing of 107 drones has been confirmed in the territories of Kharkiv, Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, and several other regions of Ukraine, reports Politeka.net.
The air defense forces (PVO) managed to destroy 107 of them, as stated in the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU).
According to Politeka, 97 imitation drones were lost without negative consequences.
The following regions were affected by the enemy attack:
Kharkiv region;
Sumy region;
Mykolaiv region;
Zaporizhzhia.
On the night of February 26 to 27, the Russian army attempted to attack Kyiv region with drones.
The fall of debris caused a fire at an industrial facility, as reported in Telegram by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Kyiv region: at night in one of the districts, a fire broke out at an industrial site as a result of debris from a UAV falling," the SES statement said.
No casualties or injuries have been reported, and the fire was promptly extinguished.
This is reported by the SES Telegram channel, which currently indicates six fatalities and 10 injuries.
Enemy shelling has resulted in large-scale fires in private homes and apartment buildings.
Rescuers are working continuously to extinguish fires and assist the affected individuals.
